Cast and hand assembled yellow gold mourning brooch. The brooch measures 36mm x 17mm and is set with a 3.5mm and a 5.5mm square cut rhodolite garnet, two 1.5mm cut emeralds and fourteen half seed pearls set down each side of the piece.
The centre of the brooch holds plaited hair in an enclosed mount.
