Hand assembled yellow gold Suffragette brooch/pendant.The Suffragette Movement commenced in the late 1800's and led to giving Women the right to vote. The colours denoted within the movement were green, white and purple, Jewellery associated with the movement often include peridot for the green, pearls for the white and amethyst for the purple.
This stunning piece measures 50.5mm x 27.2mm and is grain set with twenty-eight half seed pearls and bezel set with a 6mm x 5mm kite cut peridot and an 8mm x 6mm pear cut amethyst. c.1900's
